when I am walking on the pine-needle paths in the woods on my property. Similar to those my mom and
I often traversed".

I have discovered. I can recall not only the location of my findings but how each supplied a special need

My Journey To Wholeness

(2016)

At 38, Debby Havas learned her chronic pain and exhaustion were the result of Multiple Sclerosis-a devastating diagnosis for a wife and mother of two girls. Hers is not like any other story struggle and darkness, however-it is a story filled with brilliant insights into the deeper, emotional and spiritual triggers of illness and disease. In a quest for healing, Debby began by returning to Nature, where she had always found consolation in the beauty surrounding her. In the safety and quiet of a northern forest, she slowly excavated her traumatic past, and found a way to release the energetic scars left on her psyche. Accompany this courageous woman on her journey, as she faces personal choices that free her from the past and speed her ahead on a path of healing. My Journey to Wholeness will lift your spirit, touch your heart, and shift your life in new directions.

A Gentle Path Of Healing (2018)

In her previous book, My Journey To Wholeness, Debby, after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, explores her childhood traumas and seeks answers to "why?". In A Gentle Path Of Healing, she seeks to answer still another question - "What is it about Nature that is so profoundly healing?". She invites us to accompany her as she walks on the forest paths near her home, seeking answers. The beautiful lyric prose in this volume will escort you to a mountain top as if you had ascended it yourself . . . seat you beside a quiet stream, helping you let go of your stresses . . . place you on woodland paths and in meadows, where the scent of balsam and wild birdsong open and lift your spirit. On these lovely, powerful, mindful journeys, you will find yourself on A Gentle Path Of Healing.

About The Author

Debby Havas resides in the serene Adirondack Mountains of northern New York, where she finds solace and rejuvenation in the tranquility of Nature. As a dedicated caretaker of her land, she embraces her role in protecting the abundant wildlife that shares her property. Exploring the trails and climbing the small mountain on her property bring her immense joy, complemented by cherished moments spent with her family. In her later years, Debby draws upon her rich experiences in teaching and being a stay-at-home mom, infusing her writing with a down-to-earth and comfortable style. Her mission is reflected in her commitment to stewardship and fostering a harmonious relationship with the Natural World that surrounds her. Debby's literary journey unfolds through her first book, "My Journey to Wholeness," a memoir unraveling childhood traumas and the impact of growing up in a dysfunctional family. Diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at age thirty-eight, she makes life-altering decisions that lead to surprising outcomes. In her second book, "A Gentle Path of Healing," Debby delves deeper into the profound effects of Nature on her journey of healing from the symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis, a condition she has lived with for over twenty-five years. At the age of sixty-eight, she shares her profound understanding of the wisdom of Nature that has guided her through life. In Debby's third book, "Connections," she invites us to accompany her as she observes Nature around her property. As we interact with Nature, we can glean a personal message and therefore connect with her in the truest sense. As a seasoned teacher and a mother of two daughters, Debby enriches her writing with analogies, insights, and in-depth descriptions. Through her words, she offers readers a glimpse into the healing power of Nature and imparts wisdom gained from a life intimately connected to the Natural World.
